For international distribution, we have designed the Bulk Disposable Unit. The BDU incorporates the extended shelf-life and unique characteristics of the Stericon™ for global customers. It offers similar volume capacity with a six-month shelf life at ambient temperatures and does not require refrigerated storage.

Our Research & Development Technologists together with our Category Management Teams are experts in value-adding ingredients and in developing innovative product and application technologies.
The Category Management Team is backed by over fifteen talented and dedicated food scientists and technologists who work closely with our customers to provide product and application specific technologies. Food Spectrum’s close working relationship with our customers allows our team to gain a greater understanding of their manufacturing and supply chain processes. This enables us to reduce the time to market for our customers' products.
We are also able to provide our customers with laboratory, pilot scale and small production runs to assist with market research activities or product launches.
Our Category Team Members work hand in hand to design and develop product concepts which integrate global food trends with customers' product mix strategies.
