Food Spectrum CEO, Mark Betts, has been publicly acknowledged for his outstanding contribution to the community, receiving a major Queensland Disability Action Week Award for Outstanding Initiative.

Mark was congratulated by Disability Services Minister Curtis Pitt and presented with the Outstanding Innovation award at a ceremony in Cairns. The award recognises a specific project that has achieved outstanding results and improved the quality of life for people with a disability and their families and carers.

Among other achievements, Mark and Food Spectrum have helped to raise much-needed funds for vital equipment and therapy for youngsters with cerebral palsy. Mark has also sourced funding to establish an inclusive drama program for young people with disabilities. << Back
